John Henrick – Director  

Close friend of Mark’s, John also owns and runs a fleet of his own squid fishing vessels. Unlike surfing fanatic Mark, John is passionate about fishing, and has been involved and has won numerous off-shore fishing competitions. He has immense hands-on experience in the building of powerboats, both big and small.

John has extensive sailing experience, having cruised the Indian Ocean Islands extensively. He was involved with the national sea rescue in his younger days, at the Cape Town based Bakoven NSRI. John contributes a great deal to Nexus, from input on the construction of the yard facility to the design and development of our catamaran launching trailer.
